Please be advised that as of June 19th 2020, the original allotment of $15 Million in Stingray Stimulus grants has been exceeded by $5 Million. Local businesses in need are still welcome to apply at this time, but grant amounts and timing will be extremely limited in most markets.

$15 Million Stingray Stimulus Plan

Stingray is proud to announce the establishment of an economic stimulus plan via our 104 radio stations in markets across the country to help local businesses obtain grants in the form of radio advertising during this unprecedented crisis.

Stingray will provide a minimum of $15 million in radio advertising grants to local businesses in markets across Canada where Stingray operates local radio stations.  Stimulant grants will range from a minimum of $1000 to a maximum of $100,000 in radio advertising per business.

Where is the Stingray Stimulus Plan available?

Stingray Radio operates more than 100 radio stations in Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Prince Edward Island. We proudly serve the country’s largest cities and smallest towns, with radio stations from coast-to-coast, from Vancouver to St. John’s.

The Stingray Stimulus program is available to businesses that operate within 100 km of a municipality in which a Stingray Radio station is located.

Is my business eligible?

The Stingray Stimulus Plan will support access to radio advertising grants for local Canadian businesses in all sectors. For the purposes of the Stingray Stimulus Plan, local Canadian business is defined as any registered Canadian business, not for profit organization or charity that operates within 100 km of the designated municipality in which the applicable Stingray radio operation is located.
